Honorary Life Membership awarded to Johan Leembruggen


Mr Johan Leembruggen, who joined the DBU in 1936 when he was 20 years old, is probably the Union’s longest standing member. He served as Secretary of the DBU in 1945/46 and was at the same time Editor of the Monthly Bulletin.


Mr Leembruggen worked in the Government sector for 17 years and became Controller of Exchange during 1950-1952. He was Chairman of Mackwoods from 1980 to 1991 and was President of the National Chamber of Commerce in 1983.


The President and General Committee of the DBU are proud to confer on Mr Johan Leembruggen, an Honorary Life Membership, and wish him good health and God’s blessings.
